I started out in media as a teenage ratbag, writing album and concert reviews in exchange for free tickets to shows.

My life in the industry led me all over the place: on assignment to a remote lodge in the Arctic Circle and a volcano in Nicaragua; interviewing artists including Lil’ Kim, Nas, Róisín Murphy, James Blake and Erykah Badu; navigating the chaos of Art Basel and Maison Objet; learning about Champagne in Reims, candle-making in Oaxaca, music in Prague, food in Bangkok and beyond.

Recently, I’ve been crafting style guides, refining verbal identities and working on creative copy for brands, as well as writing for various publications and travel companies.
